Our Valley Secretary, Daniel Willerton, 32⁰, with some volunteers has been contacting our members that are behind in their dues. They have been focusing on those Brothers that are behind two years (2012 & 2013). They have had some success and hope to have more. Our concern is that The Supreme Council recommends that those brothers that are two or more years in arrears have their membership suspended for non-payment of dues (SNPD).
We have been holding off on this recommendation for six months in hopes that we could reduce the number of Brothers that are in this category. It is currently 59 members and we are confident that it can be reduced further. These Brothers will be suspended at the end of June if the dues are not brought current.
There are a number of ways available to help members if they are having problems paying their dues. Please call the office at 714 543-7277 and we will try to help. Our goal is to treat this in a Masonic way and not a business way. After all, we are all Brothers and Scottish Rite Masons!
