Greetings, Brethren!
As we head into April and beyond, I am certain we are all eagerly looking forward to several upcoming events, particularly our Spring Reunion scheduled for May 9th and 10th.
This event holds a special place for me as it allows me to engage with, play a role, and assist in welcoming new brothers to our Valley. Witnessing our membership grow, seeing us continue to impart the wisdom of the higher degrees, and encouraging new brothers to help us build upon our foundational values of brotherhood, charity, and service is always exhilarating.
I likewise encourage all who can join us and play a part to do so; it is a very rewarding and introspective experience. What better way is there to build stronger bonds with the new black hats we’ll soon see in our Valley?
On a different note, I am equally excited about the groundbreaking new program that we are currently planning and will soon implement. This program aims to ease the travel challenges of local brothers who may have difficulty attending our meetings and events, particularly at night.
This innovative idea has the potential to simplify regular attendance but also establish a new standard for other Valleys and Blue Lodges in our region to follow. To me, new ideas like these showcase our willingness to adapt and find better ways to meet an often overlooked need for many of our brothers, ensuring no one is left behind or neglected.
Furthermore, the unwavering dedication to fellowship and service is truly inspiring from any perspective. The collective effort consistently put forth by our members and all our officers is both encouraging and motivating, to say the least. It is plain to see that such consistency is a direct result of the strong senior leadership and support that backs all of us in our endeavors.
It is that leadership that continues to introduce a spirit of collaboration and mutual support, which in turn serves to fortify our presence in the community, reflecting the essence of what we strive to exemplify as Scottish Rite Masons.
So, as we travel on into this next phase of 2025, let us continue to applaud and foster an environment where every brother feels valued and connected.
I look forward to seeing everyone who can attend our forthcoming activities and meetings.
It is important to remember that new ideas are more easily generated when a large number of minds gather on a regular basis to inspire them.
