Brethren: Welcome to February which is the start of the new year in the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite (SJ). We have a new lineup of Valley Officers. We wish our new Venerable Master, Heads of Bodies and all Valley officers a successful new year.
If you haven’t been to a Stated Meeting lately, we strongly recommend you go to the meeting on February 10th at 6:30 pm. Our move to Orange Grove Lodge has worked out very well. Our Stated Meetings are shorter with longer dinners for more fellowship. Spouses are again attending and enjoying the dinners and overall attendance is up.
Our next Reunion will likely be in April. Now is the time to speak to your Blue Lodge Brothers about the benefits of OCSR membership. In particular, approach newly raised Master Masons. These Brothers have a quest for more Masonic knowledge after completing their degrees in the Craft Lodge. The online application for degrees can be accessed through the membership tab on the OCSR website. Most candidates find this far easier than filling out a paper petition. As the Valley of Orange County continues to advance, we note this is only possible because of the participation of our members and we thank you.
